The Next Generation? Take Advantage of Technology!

by Michelle Allmark published 21st Jul 2011

I popped down to the New Designers exhibition last week to see the new graduate talent. Some beautiful design work - I came away feeling inspired with a handful of business cards in hand.

Despite the great work, it felt like a missed opportunity. I would have loved to see a big QR code next to someone's work, instead of what feels like a really old fashioned way of letting people know who you are: a business card.

I love great design work, but at Ignite we're always looking for someone who thinks from the customers perspective and produces smart design. In this instance, QR Codes would have been a simple way to stand out from the crowd.
