Front-end Website Developer
A great opportunity to join Ignite Hospitality - a dynamic, growing, digital marketing agency based in North London.
We are looking for a Front-end developer, well experienced in HTML, CSS and pre-processors. Proficient use of Wordpress, or similar CMS systems is required, and some experience with ModX, Git, jQuery/Javascript would be a benefit.
Cross-browser consistency is essential and knowledge of mobile and responsive design preferred. You should have an active interest in keeping up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, and feel comfortable actioning these to continually improve the services we offer our clients.
Ignite is a small collaborative business, with a close knit, 'there's no I in team' ethos. We need someone who's willing to get involved with all aspects of the creative process. Our ideal applicant will also have an interest in design, with an understanding of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, and an acute attention to detail. Although your bread and butter will be front end developing, we want someone with a healthy interest in the overall user experience, accessibility, and SEO, who will work closely with the marketers and designers to achieve a perfect end result.
Ignite's client base is national and international hotels, restaurants and bars - so an interest in food, drink and travel could mean this is the role for you!
Immediate availability preferred. Salary: £22-27K depending upon experience.
